Workin on the (Real) script.

Here's whats been going down in the last few days in terms of what I have to do. I came to school on Friday to a concerned Gunner asking, "wheres the script?". Confused, I looked back at him and quickly asked, "what script?". "The script for our movie"he replied, "mini-movie or the real movie?" I asked, worried. "the real script, the first draft is due today". Oh no. Later on that morning, Spencer came up to me and asked me if I had a first draft of a script to show him. I didnt have anything. So Spencer told me that I should do it over the weekend so he can revise it for me so I can get another draft in by thursday. I have his revisions and now I am about to start working on the real script. Whilst researching for precious information about my assigned country, Zimbabwe, I came across this nifty site that has a wealth of information on any country that is known to have an abundance of problems (Except the United States). Its called Crisis Group and it is very helpful. Heres the link to the Zimbabwe section.

Its okay if you dont want to visit the site. But if you have any cool sites that you think that might be helpfull to me, feel free to post them. I'd love to keep blogging, but I got a script to re-write and turn in tomorrow. That is all.

Groups, Groups, Groups.

Its the end of Tuesday and I feel OK. The day before my group and I had successfully rendered and turned in our mini movie. We would have gotten it done earlier, but my partner Gunner, wasnt there and the movie was on his account. Minor setback, no big deal. After 15 minutes and a phone call to our sick partner, Austin and I were wrapping up the final movie. That was Monday. Now is Tuesday. Gunner is over his cold now but for some strange reason, Austin is out for some strange reason. I'm starting to feel like they both are switching off on being absent or something. Not really, I just chose the two most frequently absent people in the entire class. Oh well. They do get stuff done nonetheless. If I could complain a little bit more, Austin is NEVER on time for class and he is ALWAYS late. Yes, even on late start wednesdays.

That aside I just had gotten settled into my literature group. I chose to read the book "They poured fire on us from the sky". For some reason, every time I take the time to think about that title and possibly reach into the depth and meaning of it, I imagine a bunch of rich european people in a helicopter with the side panel slid open. They all are wearing giddy faces, filled with thrill and excitement, thier watchfull eyes carefully rest on the mass of children below. They squeel to themselves in excitement as a group of young boys start to fall under the massive shadow of their flying machine. A large vat of magma quietly gurgles alongside the Europeans huddled around it. The Europeans can no longer contain their excitement they all silently agree that there is no better time than now. They tip the vat over in absolute bliss, as if they were spilling out the joy in their hearts, to share with the young boys below. Then, suddenly you realize the screams renting the harsh african plains. Thats what I think of the title, aaannyywways. The people I am partnered with are Ed and and Gunner. Pretty cool, pretty cool. Now I have to read ten pages each day of this book so I have another thing on my shedule.

MAI Weekend

It was awesome. First I left at 11 am from school to go to six flags with Micah and Nemo. Then I got back to Micah's place at five in the morning, after a kick ass day at six flags, then three of us crashed in the middle of his living room. Haha. Then we woke up on saturday at four. Hm, eleven hours of sleep. Not bad. Nemo got picked up. Then me and Micah spent the rest of the day just lurking around his neighborhood. The next morning we woke at ten a.m. and I got Micah addicted to a game that owen introduced to me and ed, so I thought I might as well introduce it to him. Then I convinced me to go with me biking with owen, so I ripped him off of Assault Cube and we went over to owens and he set micah up with a bike and a helmet and we were off for the next four hours biking around point loma. then We went back to owens place and crashed on the couch and played and then micah got picked up and I stayed with owen and played ps3 with him. until about five and then I rode my bike all the way back to Micahs place and pick up my stuff and get picked up and finally go back to my house after three full days gone. Dont worry, I had a bath when I got home. I smelled like two rank___ having b____ on the ______ with twenty thousand stoned mermaids doing the macarena while g____w on their h______ on top of the twenty p_____ elephants having a r_____q ma___o sandwich on the fourth of july. Now I finally back at my trusty machine typing up all this stuff and browsing the internets. Theres My Weekend For You.

Reflection on the Reflection

Im not really sure if my main man spence-dawg is gonna count this as a real post to my blog scince its only posted on my blog a few minutes after the reflection, either way, I dont care. I want to reflect more. So, first getting around to actually going on blogger.com was painfully hard, seriously. But luckily enough I learned from owen thanks to skype, that I had a reflection to do! So I cranked it out out of my noggin memory juice that was storing all of the interview info and I did it. I had to do a couple word checks along the way thanks to this nifty site. Go ahead copy and paste. Ill give you five seconds. . One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Glad you could make it back. Anyway, once I had the reflection done I decided to do this reflection, so yeah. here it is.

My Interview Reflection. (Includes Russian Spies! SWEET)

Well, I'm doing an absolutely horrid job at keeping up on all my posts. So Im going to try to kick it up a notch. By going on my blog and posting on it whenever I am within immediate access to a computer. TRY being the key word there. Aside from that my interview that I did with my partners that involved asking questions to an immigration lawyer went just fine. Gunner had the question list that i co-wrote with him, and austin had control over the voice recorder and making sure that all of the technical aspects involving the recorder went smoothly. I was in charge of improvising questions out of where the conversation was going so that we could get the most out of our interviewwee the immigration lawyer. We found out a lot about him, when we had the chance to meet him we found out alot about him, he was a man in his mid thirties. He grew up in israel, and so when he turned Eighteen, he told us, that he was drafted into the millitary. I thought at first, wow poor fella, but then I later learned that all of the men get drafted into the israelian millitary when you turn eighteen. Wow, who knew. Good thing I live in the United States, oh wait, we might be starting a draft soon. Never mind. Anyways back to our groups interviewee, where was I? Oh yes, he was a young man from israel and got drafted, so I asked him how he'd gone from the Israelian front lines to this nice law firm that specialized in immigration services on sixth avenue downtown San Diego. So he told me and our attentiveley listening audio recorder his story how he did so. Very interesting. So he told us his story all the way up until he got to the law firm in the U.S. It turns out that our lawyer had, after serving the certain amount of years in the Israelian army that he had to serve, he then went to europe to further the studies that he had started in Israel. Then he went up another rung of the old ladder of national importance to go study law at The Southern California School of Law right here in San Deigo. And once he graduated he continued his law career right here in Americas Finest City. And thats not just the U.S. thats ALL of America, including Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile and all those other american countries which I cant remember. Anyways, Scince starting to work at the law firm, our good friend has helped many-a-people get into this wonderfull country. Hes helped A LOT OF PEOPLE, all the way from fruit vendors from italy all the way to russian spies, you heard me, RUSSIAN SPIES. I asked if there was a weighing system so that its harder to get in to some countries than others. So I says to him, "What is the hardest country to get into, and what is the easiest?". An he says to me, USA= HARDEST TO GET INTO, NIGERIA= EASIEST. Hmm, I wonder why. No Alex. No.
